Here’s the last microscale fighter in the series. I really like the poseability you can achieve by combining the classic trans-clear SW-shooter satnd with a 1×1 bracket:

Almost too weak for stuff this size though :(

Evolution from the Z3: Instead of just minimizing the cockpit vertically, I’ve also sliced a good third of it here. The curve is also smoother (there’s going to be similar curves on the sides of the engine section.

Status 1½ month ago: Originally I’d made a fancy bridge between the cockpit and gun-sections so that the engine could pivot around the dishes (I just stitched the craft together to take a few shots during the Z3-photoshoot), but it was really hard to integrate, and the craft would end up too wide:

Status weekend before last: After experimeting with various unsuccesfull designs all morning, until I ended up with this. Originally I planned to exchange the yellow fins for black or white ones, but they’ve kinda grown on me since then, so I think I’ll try to make a real colourscheme this time (more about that in the next blogpost)!
